Spent New Year’s Eve at The Dead Rabbit and so impressed by the Jingle Jangle decorations (and cocktails), flawless service and amazing atmosphere. The music was great, the drinks were flowing all night and the evening was so much fun. Thank you so much all at The Dead Rabbit!

Got suggested this lovely little Irish Pub by my friend from Belfast who actually went to school with one of the owners, so I knew it was going to be good! Reasonably priced cocktails and a lovely food menu. Guinness cheaper than anywhere else in new York! Atmosphere especially was great, and the bar maid was lovely. A short walk from the ferry so a good stop off after seeing the statue of liberty and Staten island etc. Thank you!

The Dead Rabbit in New York is such a cozy spot to kick back and relax. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, perfect for unwinding. The cocktails are fantastic, and the music just adds to the whole experience. I went alone and had such a great time—just enjoying the moment, sipping my drink, and soaking in the warm atmosphere. It’s one of those places where you can truly relax and enjoy the night.

This is a great cocktail bar to go to for those who enjoy creative cocktails. Their menu comes in a book. Most of the cocktails had fun and unique flavors. This is not the place to go if you want a simple espresso martini. I had the leaf and berry, which was creamy and tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry. The alcohol truly shines in the cocktails. Food was also really good! The fish and chips tasted fresh and crispy. The crab cake was yummy as well. Overall, if you can stop by this is a great spot!

Great bar to hang out with friends and grab a few drinks. This time we sat downstairs but we usually like to go upstairs since it’s more intimate. The place was busy and full, but we were able to grab a table for 10 in the back. Bunch of us ordered Guinness and few others got the frozen Irish coffee along with cocktails, which was delicious. Great bar bites as well; we ordered the scotch eggs, sausage rolls, fries and popcorn. Definitely recommend!

Very cool pub. Drinks and foods are really nice. You can find lots of different draught beer. Also, food quality is high. The design is also game changer. I was there Friday evening and it would be the best time to go there. I’ll definitely go back. We spent 3-4 hours there. The prices are a bit expensive because of the location.

What a fun place! Great pub atmosphere, a full menu, with lots of cocktail choices. And of course plenty of beers. Excellent and cheerful bartender. And good food. We got the gem lettuce Ceasar which was great. Some oysters. And their version of the Reuben (Cole slaw instead of sauerkraut). I still prefer Sauron’s this was very tasty. Hard to get reservations but on a Friday at noon we were able to get seats at the bar.

I stopped in on a late Friday afternoon for a drink and was not disappointed. Friendly crowd a bit packed in, but everyone getting along. Had a Taking Liberties and thoroughly enjoyed it. Followed that with a pint. Made some friends. Came back the next day for a drink and a snack. Iced Irish coffee is perfect for a hot day. I love, love that their TVs and be pushed up to the ceiling and lit if the way when there's no special game on. Perfect adaptation. No notes.

We went on a Sunday in December and the place was PACKED! The Christmas decorations were so beautiful and there was live music on the main floor. We went up to the Green Room because there was more room up there and had a great time. The seasonal “jingle jangle” cocktails are superb and the food was delicious. We were standing a majority of the time but eventually got bar seats to finish out the night. Bar tenders were friendly and quick with drinks and food!

One of the cozier bars in the neighborhood with a cocktail menu that’s fit for a competition on mixed drinks. Downstairs is small - if the upstairs is closed then prepare for a tight squeeze. Noise levels are great for conversations in groups of 4 or less. Cocktails are amazing. Food is decent (particularly after a few rounds). Sawdust floors have been their “thing” for years. Polite, professional, efficient staff.

I literally took a bite of this grilled salmon and just had to say it’s cooked to perfection! I am absolutely delighted and flabbergasted to have tasted such delicious salmon. The non-alcoholic cocktail were also really taste and not just some frizzy drink mixed. Place was packed but I was still able to find a place to sit. The waitress that helped me with my order was really nice. Would definitely come back again!

What’s there to say about this place that hasn’t already been said? Often times, it’s hard to deliver on the hype— but The Dead Rabbit delivers on every single small detail. The philosophy of design and service shines through in every single thing they do, and as someone with an appreciation for the little things…this place truly does make you feel at home. Every pint poured with care. The food is exceptional. And the vibes just simply cannot be matched. I count myself grateful that the owners take the pride and care in curating such an experience. Priced very respectably as well. You leave feeling like you’ve gotten more than your moneys worth. I love this place. Edit; The Irish coffee is an absolute experience and a perfect way to put a cap on your experience. You must try one.

Came here for a Friday dinner and was able to squeeze into the bar for seating. Cocktails are phenomenal and the whiskey offerings are impressive. Food is elevated pub grub but not by too much - I did enjoy the mussels the most but the sausage roll and scotch egg are not too bad as well. Get ready to be surrounded by people in this packed restaurant but it’s a good time.

Yes they offer the best Irish coffee (and derivatives) on NYC. If you love tiramisu, the Irish coffee tiramisu is a must try. This is one of my world top10bar. Good food, good drink. Always cheers me up. Parlor Room has a better quality in cocktail. Tap room is good for beer, as it sounds. Great service.

Best bar in NYC, it's not an upscale bar serving cocktails made with ingredients you have never heard of and names you cant pronounce. It's a good old Irish Pub that the likes of Tommy Gavin would frequent. The service was fantastic (shout out to our new best friend Vivian) we were able to try a fantastic lineup of Irish whiskeys, of which they have more than you could hope to run through. I wish they would open one close to home, but then again, I would be parked there 8 days a week.

There are multiple rooms that have different, unique vibes. The food is good and drinks are top notch as expected. There’s happy hour on the bottom floor (pretty good) but the cocktails on the upper floors and much more worth trying. I’d definitely recommend going with a reservation.

The Dead Rabbit is one of the coolest bar and dining experiences I’ve had to date. My wife and I started with an Irish coffee at the bar on the main floor. My word was that good. This place was once listed as one of the top bars in the world, and I can see why. The drink was perfectly mixed, pleasantly warm and had a great kick from the whisky. We also had reservations for the parlor and had a wonderful meal in a more chill environment. Started out with a scotch egg, which was one of the tastiest things we ate during our entire trip. It’s perfectly crispy and delicious. The Guinness was on point and perfectly poured. Which pared very well with the fish and chips, which was light and flaky. Seriously one of the funnest and best meals we had on our trip. Would go again, if only for another scotch egg and Irish coffee.

Perfect Irish Pub with perfect old style classy Irish pub atmosphere. It's a busy and crowded bar with amazing food, good of beers, and craft cocktails. Be prepared to hang out at the bar and squeeze into the open space somewhere at the common table. It is very noisy because this place is super popular not only among tourists but also locals, who come here after work for a drink. Oysters were amazing, clam chowed was absolutely delicious, hand-cut potato chips were fresh and crunchy and served with 3 different sauces. There is also an option for booking a table. This tavern is a historical place and has a great story. It shares a wall with another famous tavern in the district ;)

First of all, I have to say that this place has such a lovely environment—it truly feels like home. I come here every weekend, and it’s become part of my routine in the best way possible. Everything is freshly baked daily, from the incredible sourdough bread to the pastries that always smell and taste like they just came out of the oven. The coffee? Absolutely delicious. You can tell it’s made with care. It’s rich, smooth, and consistently good—no matter who prepares it. There’s something really special about how each cup feels crafted rather than just made. One of the things I appreciate most is how the owner runs the place. He’s super friendly and has created a space where the staff seem genuinely happy. You can feel the freedom they have to express themselves—whether it’s through latte art or the beautiful sweets they bake. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s a little hub of creativity and warmth. As for the food—my absolute favorite is the steak and eggs. It’s perfectly cooked every time and packed with flavor. A close second is the chicken sandwich, which is juicy, crispy, and just hits the spot. And of course, the avocado toast is always fresh and satisfying. Everything on the menu is made with quality ingredients and you can really taste the difference. And for all my Brazilian friends—you’ll be happy to know they even have Brazilian carrot cake! My favorite.

Great Irish bar experience. We got the Irish Coffee and Secret Garden. They were the best cocktails we tasted in the US so far. They were $20 each and worth every penny. We didn't expect much of the food but they surprised our expectations. Oysters were fresh and Irish Breakfast was filling. Overall, if we visit NYC in the future we would definitely visit.

A really busy bar in the financial district. Very quirky, with lots of dollars bills stapled to the back of the bar. I only drank here, so I can't comment on the food. I'd recommend the dogfish head on tap.

Went here for new year's eve...it was PRICEY but so worth it. Cocktails for days and served quickly, all delicious. The food was really yummy too. I thought all the staff were so great too. Perfect balance between Irish bar and fancy cocktail bar. Loved it.

Excellent Sheppard Pie and ham/cheese toastie! Busy spot, get a reservation if you object to high top seating. The Guinness was on point. Music is excellent! Ladies room is cold! Maybe it is better in the warmer months.

As one of the best bars in NY, I was looking forward to this place. It’s packed, but I still was able to get a table and order food and drinks relatively fast. The Doctors Orders was amazing, a true fall drink, and their signature coffee drinks were all great. The food was good for a “pub”, unfortunately I dint get a chance to access the second floor, so have to come back for that. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Three of us went there on a Friday night. Tables are small, place can get crowded. This is in the financial district so there were a lot of Wall Street business people there. Some with a big ego who took up a lot of space. Anyway, Kate was our server and the service she gave us was incredible. We ordered the Fish and Chips, which was well cooked, with a Harps beer batter, mushed peas and fries. The fish itself could have had more seasoning. The Turkey pot pie was very good and the drinks were excellent. Will definitely go again. When we went, the place was decorated for Christmas and it was very festive.

The Dead Rabbit in NYC is a hidden gem in the Financial District! This charming Irish bar, tucked away on a beautiful corner, has a cozy and inviting atmosphere with gorgeous decor. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn’t too crowded, which made it perfect for a relaxed visit. You order directly from the bartender, and while the prices are a bit higher, the cocktails are absolutely top-notch—well worth every penny! Their food was fantastic as well. I also discovered they have locations in Austin, TX, and DC—definitely on our list for future trips!

Great bar just round the corner from our hotel. Katie was great behind the bar and got chatting to Tom, local and another couple visiting from Texus, who shared their corned beef recipe! We also ordered food which was well cooked and very delicious. I had the lamb chops and hubby had fried chicken and fries. Enjoyed our visit from Manchester, UK.
