You can pour your own way at Tap Haus 33, and it’s 99 times better than a lot of the pubs in the city. They have an insane collection of brews with a row of pour spigots ready when you are. Just load a closed-loop card, swipe it at each spout, and let the good times flow. What I love about this place is the atmosphere. The party tables give it a relaxed and familiar vibe, inviting conversation with your group - or with new friends you’ve just met. The space is somewhat narrow, but they’ve maximized it for relatively easy movement. The beer spouts line one full side of the joint, and it’s easy to scan what’s on tap. The hardest part? Making choices from so many rotating beers. The bar is designed for sports, with TVs on every wall - so it’s an ideal spot for taking in a game. Because it’s small, things can get a little loud, so come prepared for the boisterous crowds during big matches and events (I personally like that kind of energy during a game). Let’s talk food, because it kind of blew my mind. I went in not expecting much, but the burger was outrageous. And any menu that offers jalapeños on a tasty slab of medium beef is a hot ticket. Oh, and the fires? Fuggetaboutit!!! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned all around to perfection. Fries are a dealbreaker for me, and having a side of spicy mayo took it up 33 notches. If you’re in the K-Town region of the 212, I highly recommend hitting the Tap Haus for the beer and the food. You won’t regret it.

The beer was the draw to this place. It fell short in so many ways. The beer was always half foam and overpriced. You should shut this establishment down if you have any respect for the hospitality industry.

I visited this bar for the UEFA Champions League final yesterday and had an absolute blast. It's a modern, chic bar with an efficient service system. Firstly, the beer is self-service. You get a card at the entrance and top it up. There are more than 20 types of beers to choose from at the self-service station. This setup significantly speeds up service, so you no longer have to wait at the bar stand for someone to take your order. Secondly, the bar features multiple screens on both sides of the walls, ensuring you can find a screen at the right angle from any corner of the room. Lastly, the bar has a great vibe with friendly groups. Even when it got crowded, people remained nice and polite. My tip for watching a popular game here is to arrive 30 minutes early to secure a chair. Otherwise, you might need to stand throughout the game.

The choice of beer was great. Unfortunately the cider choice was sparse. Although they pointed us for 10 choices, in reality there was maybe three or four choices. Food was ok, but not great. The advantage of the place was the quietness and how fast you can get a second beer. You can also choose the amount you pour, so if you don't feel like a full glass you can get half of one and you pay by the amount you pour.

Huge variety of beers on tap, as well as a good selection at the bar. The vibe is awesome here. Definitely recommended!

Cool idea, but the 10 second pour is more like 6 or 7. That leaves you with a half full pint glass of mostly flat (though very cold) beer. Kind of like drinking a keg outside of a football stadium, if you could get a full pour off one tap it’d be a 5 star establishment. Also you guys need higher resolution projectors, I could count the pixels on the football helmets

Awesome sports bar with a wide selection of ciders and beers. I enjoyed the experience here especially because you get to try different flavors without buying multiple glasses. Be sure to bring CASH because they have HUGE cash incentives/promos.

TapHaus has become one of our go-to spots to hang out with friends. The vibes are always great—fun atmosphere, good music, and super friendly staff. The bartenders, James and Danny, are always awesome—super friendly and know their stuff. The owner is also really welcoming and creates a great environment. The beer selection is solid, especially if you're into IPAs and ciders. Definitely a place worth checking out if you're looking for a chill beer spot with good energy and even better people.

I never expected to find a place like this in NYC. For a flat fee, you can access all the taps for happy hour (I think it was from 5 to 8 on the day I went.) They had so many options and even chilled glasses! The staff was excellent; they were not only fun to chat with, but also provided an excellent overview as a first time visitor. They brought us water cups very quickly, without us needing to ask for them, which was very appreciated. We tried the garlic Parm fries and the sweet potato fries. They were perfectly crispy and they had an amazing sauce with them. Overall, I would love to return, and had a great experience here!

This was a spontaneous choice for a work happy hour but it was actually so great! An amazing happy hour deal where you get unlimited drafts that are SELF POUR!!! How sick is that I had so much fun I tried all their like 7 cider flavors it was amazing. We also shared some food, nachos were fine and the wings were super good! I'm definitely saving this place and itll be a regular work happy hour spot in the future!! It was a bit packed and busy so we were cramped in standing room for a bit before a table opened up but that makes sense. Loved the variety of sports being played well, I feel like it’s so rare to have tennis playing but I was so happy to see that it was!!

Call ahead if you’re planning on going to happy hour. Traveled from UWS to come on a Thursday to be told they weren’t doing it that night. Without the happy hour, this place is not worth the prices. 10 dollars for a 3/4 filled pint of beer. Would def come again if called ahead and confirmed weekday happy hour was happening! (Advertised as Monday-Thursday from 5-8pm for unlimited self pours for 25 dollars on their website)

I recently discovered Tap Haus 33 and let me tell you, it's unlike any other bar I've been to! The highlight for me has to be their legendary happy hour – all you can drink beer? Count me in! While I haven't experienced it yet, I'm already planning my next visit to take full advantage of this fantastic offer. During my time there, I noticed that the bar attracts a diverse crowd, including many Asians, which adds to the vibrant energy of the place. The atmosphere is lively, and I love that they have games and projectors set up for added entertainment. Sitting at the bar, I didn't get a chance to try the self-service bar experience, but I'm definitely looking forward to it during happy hour. Tap Haus 33 offers more than just beer – their full bar menu includes spirits, wines, and seltzers, catering to all tastes. Whether you're a beer aficionado or prefer a classic cocktail, there's something for everyone here. Plus, with 13 TVs and 3 large projectors, you'll never miss a major sporting event! Overall, Tap Haus 33 provides a modern twist on the traditional beer hall experience. It's a perfect spot to gather with friends, watch the game, and enjoy great drinks in a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to return and explore more of what this place has to offer!
