Mixed feelings. Place is nice, vibe Is great. But I noticed a new bartender came in for her shift. Came from the street. Never washed her hands. Was touching her nose, her shorts, was looking for a cutting board, never found it. And started cutting limes to fill a jar right on a mat. After watching this, I don’t to be here anymore. Disgusting

I got the white elderflower cosmo and I must say I wasn’t really tasting the elderflower. It was still a good drink nun the less. The atmosphere is really cozy and the drinks are well priced. I love that you get free popcorn with your drinks it’s a clever concept. You even get to customize a one dollar bill and tape it to the wall which was fun to do with friends.

They have a creepy regular who hits on women in the most unasked uncomfortable way. Don't bother complaining. They will just tell you he is a regular and tell you to take a compliment better. This guy is lucky I was in a charitable mood and didn't embarrass him. Other than that, this place was cool looking, but the service was so par, too.

So happy to see that this place is still open after so many years. This is the best casual bar on the block. There’s a downstairs too, so you don’t get bored of the scene. Great drinks, deals, some arcade games too. Highly recommend for a quick stop spot for drinks or a casual outing with friends, especially visitors and tourists.

I had an amazing time at Snafu Bar! The atmosphere was electric, and I felt like I was at a family party, surrounded by great people. We were dancing at the bar with others, and the energy was contagious. The staff was friendly, and everyone was just there to have a great time. It was one of those nights where you leave feeling so happy and fulfilled. Can’t wait to go back! The drinks and popcorn were great.

Amazing service and atmosphere. The drinks are relatively cheap and we were able to get a great table for our group. Seasoned popcorn is served to you nonstop, and it's so yummy. Downstairs you can help yourself to beer pong and other bar games. Great place to bring a group and save money.

Great little bar. Staff is awesome, made us feel very welcome. It was late and we stopped for a drink. Asked the server if they had a food menu, said they didn't serve food, all good, no problem. We had another drink. A few minutes later she came up to the table and brought us a calzone! Staff had got food delivered and she shared with us! Was a terrific example of hospitality and kindness.

My friend and I visited Snafu 1/6/24 after seeing “Six.” We didn’t know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. Walking in, we knew we were in the right place as the DJ was playing a great mix of one of our faves. And, the music kept getting better as the evening progressed! Our bartender Lila was busy, but still made time to be friendly and didn’t complain when we inadvertently ordered the most complicated (and delicious) drinks on the menu (see video.) The crowd was lively and diverse… sometimes unruly, but the manager and staff kept them cool and under control. I suspect they were typical Saturday regulars, otherwise they might have been tossed. Will definitely come back when I return to NY. Put it on your list!

Not a bad place. Some fun games which makes it different. Service was good. Most tables and seats were reserved which makes it hard to find somewhere to relax. Friday night visit. Reasonable price for NYC

Been visiting Snafu for about 15 years now. I always have a good time. It’s upbeat, good music and sports on the screen.. HOWEVER! The brasilian bartender continuously tried to over charge me a couple times by adding 2 more drinks on each cash round. I was with 3 other friends and whether I ordered 2 drinks she would charge me for 4. She actually got away with it 2X but the 3rd time i had to call her out on it. She immediately without hesitation adjusted the amount. It’s a shame because I paid cash for each round and tipped her in average of 20-25% per round. So just be aware when you are having a good time with friends “the bartenders will add drinks to your total” especially if they are aware you are with friends.. they use this as an advantage to place unordered drinks from “your friend” on your total bill.
