Very expensive drinks and then you have to pay $3 per song to request to sing, which is not advertised. When you request a song you’re not even guaranteed to sing. Very touristy and plays into the midtown scheme ($$). Would not recommend.

What a great bar! We had a wonderful time last weekend. Unfortunately, by the time I found courage to sing, most of the people went home. 😅 But still, I had a GREAT time. Next time I visit NYC, I will for sure come here. Special thanks to the super sweet waitress who talked to us and was really friendly and kind. Greetings from Croatia 🥰

07/12/2024- We weren’t greeted at all upon entering this establishment, we approached the front desk and the hostility by the rude gay male that seemed to be working the front desk, was unbearable. The other staff was fine, however, the gay male was putting on a show with his eyes and fingers, with a sassy expression that made other patrons feel uncomfortable. He needs more training, combat those emotions, and work on delivering a positive message to all other members. Maybe working the food line would be a better option for him, he carried himself so poorly.

Great experience. We reserved a room for our team outing and everyone had a great time. The reservation process was very easy. I sent them an email and received a prompt reply. They had happy hour going on until 7 which was great and very reasonable prices. We enjoyed the drinks and the large karaoke selection. Everyone who worked there was very nice. They also had open karaoke in the bar but we didn’t participate. Would definitely come back,

Great place for parties. We attended Bachelorettes party there. Nice separate rooms with free walk through space. Great drink, full bar, bartender will make any drink to your liking. Great ambiance. Nice selection of songs. We had great time.

Nice place for a small or large karaoke group. Staff can be called to your room and you can order food or drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good place for a night out.

My go-to karaoke spot in NYC. This place hits all the right notes! I LOVE karaoke and have been to countless places across at least 3 boroughs. I keep coming back here. Why? Great drinks, like real cocktails not mystery brew. Great song selection. And most importantly, immaculate vibes. They have both bar singing in an open room and tons of private rooms. The rooms are very nicely designed. But, at the bar, I’ve never failed to come and make new friends - Out of towners, locals, broadway singers you name it! So much fun!

We booked a private karaoke room for three hours because a friend recommended the place and it didn’t miss. Really good selection of songs, a small but reasonable menu of food, and a wide array of drinks to enjoy the night! The service was excellent, everyone was super attentive and they made sure that the reservation was secured and adequate for our needs beforehand.

Such a fun spot for karaoke. The bartender is a kick-ass singer herself, and helped me out since I lost my high register to a bout with strep throat a few weeks ago. Just be ready to compete with legit singers, karoake in the Broadway district is no joke (people can say “it’s just karaoke” all they want, and they’re usually the ones who can sing REALLY well 🤣).

Was fortunate to find someone to go with to tryout some karaoke. At 8:30 there were only a few people. The clientele were incredibly supportive and warm. People had great voices and harmonized beautifully. Couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The staff were friendly. attentive and fun. My drink was $17 and it was $3 a song. No other fees. Worth every penny. The place started to get busier around 11.

Had a great experience when visiting New York for a few days recently. If you're wondering they do have an open room with karaoke, so you don't _have to_ reserve a private room. There wasn't a big crowd, but the people who are around are lovely. Bartender Joseph was friendly and helpful with singing. My second time wasn't as great as the other bartender wasn't always around and some of the playbacks were faulty and she wouldn't react until someone called her over, but still had a great time. There's no entry fee, but you pay $3 per song request (or is it $2? I think it's $3...). Drinks cost about the same they do in any other bar. Be aware they have a website with a full list of songs, the catalogue on the table is just the most popular ones. The address of the site is on the cover of the catalogue but it's easily missed. 10/10 would recommend, I'm definitely coming back when I'm back in NYC.

Went here for a friend’s birthday. The bartender who served us was very attentive. My jukebox cocktail was delicious. Chips and salsa was standard but hit the spot. Large choice of songs. We sat in the public karaoke area and it’s fun to see strangers sing and the crowd come together to sing songs. Would come again

Raj and the team at RPM are the best! We hosted a birthday party in the radio room and I can't wait to book our next event there. From booking to sorting out the details to the actual party, everything was super easy to understand with friendly staff (especially in comparison to trying to book at other places). They have straight forward food and drinks plans that worked for us and even allowed us to bring a cake at no extra charge. The vibe is cool and relaxed with all the songs you want - definitely book here!

We had my daughter’s 20th birthday party at RPM Underground this past weekend. The place is amazing. Everyone commented on how cool the place is with all the retro brand signs and vintage gadgets everywhere. We didn’t have food, so I can’t say anything about their menu. We rented the two large connected rooms for 40~45 people which I thought were perfect. We used one for karaoke and the other for food and for people who just wanted to hang out and chat. The servers were very attentive and helpful. We LOVE this place, and my daughter is already trying to talk me into having her next birthday here!

I celebrated my 23rd birthday at RPM Underground this past Friday and highly recommend it for any event you plan. It was the absolute best time. With over 9,000 song choices and an easy to use system that was explained to us right away, we really had an amazing time. Raj was so helpful in assisting us with planning every detail and was quick to communicate kindly and effectively. We had a bartender assist us for the night because we selected the Open Bar package, and we were lucky enough to have Aaron who was so kind and fun. Everyone was just amazing and so friendly and I had the best birthday thanks to the wonderful team at RPM Underground. There may be many karaoke places in the city but this is without a doubt the best one we’ve ever tried:)

Fantastic Karaoke venue! I’ve arranged multiple large group karaoke events here, both in the evening and for their weekend brunch, and every time the friendly staff deliver. Two of my friends have celebrated their birthdays here and as of summer 2024 so have I. The venue even offers a non-private area. Could not recommend this place more highly 👌🏻

Cameron was 100% right he left a review two weeks ago. What is the point of having karaoke at the bar if you spend an amount of money at the bar and it doesn’t include being able to get any songs which are purchased so now on top of my bill for drinks that are lackluster. Literally juice. I also on top of that have to pay to do songs at the bar. A terrible way in a disappointing stop for my cousin‘s birthday. I didn’t make a big deal. I didn’t go to the people at the front desk. he said it’s three dollars for song so disappointing. Do not waste your money unless you’re getting a room and doing your own vibe the bar is a waste.

Our group celebrated a 40th birthday in the Radio Room, and we had an absolutely blast! All the staff were super attentive and helpful. Huge song library and easy to use system.

Just wrapped up our second year celebrating at RPM, and once again and it did not disappoint! Raj goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. The private rooms are incredibly spacious, the song selection is extensive (something for everyone!), and the overall vibe is unmatched. It’s the perfect spot for a fun, high-energy night with friends. Already looking forward to the next time! 🎤🎶

This place was a 5/5 ⭐️ We went there for our friend’s birthday a big group of 20+ people and the staff treated us so nicely!! The decoration is superb!!! And the music catalog is extensive which is where many other karaoke places fall short ironically. Would highly recommend!!
