The food & drinks were exceptional! The atmosphere’s upbeat. I didn’t like a comment that the waiter made hence the loss of one star😡 Otherwise everything was perfect.

Natalia truly knows her stuff and consistently checks in to see if I need anything—top-notch customer service. This is my go-to spot, and I always recommend it to others for great food, drinks, and a perfect place to catch the game. Jeff same thing on his end. Highly recommend

Really great place to hang out! We went for my birthday dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and kind. The DJ was great and we were lit by the end of the night.

It was our first time at bad habits and my fiance and I had an awesome time. Food 10/10, drinks 10/10 , ambiance 10/10, the manager Wendell was so very nice and welcoming. Awesome host! We will certainly be back!

I came here on a Thursday night let me just say Outstanding service! The bartender Zuleika was not only friendly and attentive but also incredibly skilled behind the bar. She crafted amazing cocktails with care and made great recommendations. The atmosphere was lively, and their positive energy really elevated the experience. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Will definitely be back!

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype I really wanted to like Bad Habits, but unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. We went with a group of friends and were told there were no reservations available, but the wait would be about 30 minutes. We decided to put our name down and grab dinner across the street. When we returned, not only had our table not been called, but we ended up waiting an additional two hours on top of the original 30 minutes. The staff was dismissive and unhelpful throughout the entire wait, repeatedly telling us, “10 more minutes” or “15 more minutes” with no real update or transparency. At no point was there any gesture of courtesy or apology for the extended wait—not even a small discount or comp at the end of the night, which would’ve gone a long way. Once seated, the service continued to disappoint. Our server only came to the table three times the entire night and was difficult to flag down. It felt like the place was clearly understaffed, which made the entire dining experience feel frustrating and impersonal. That said, the atmosphere was great—the DJ did a solid job and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The pricing was moderate, but honestly, the level of service did not match up. If you’re not someone with a lot of patience or flexibility, I wouldn’t recommend Bad Habits. There are definitely better options in the area for a night out that won’t leave you feeling overlooked and frustrated.

We came to celebrate my friend Berta’s birthday and we had amazing service. The waitress was very attentive and also the owner. He came over and spoke with us made sure our experience was great. I recommend everyone to come

If you’re looking for a spot that feels both effortlessly cool and genuinely welcoming, Bad Habits is the place. The bar itself is stunning. Their cocktail menu is absolutely next-level. Their popular frozen drinks are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Food-wise, the food just seals the deal. Every dish feels crafted and so delicious. Their Big Bad Brunch is a whole event, the best brunch plates you will have. And let me tell you my favorite— their WAFFLES, absolute perfection. A huge part of what makes Bad Habits special is the leadership and love that management has for this place. The service is great— the manager Wendel and staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem like they enjoy being there. They make you feel like you are not just a customer, but like family. This place is full of life, flavor and rhythm. It is not just a restaurant/bar— it’s a whole experience.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Bad Habits this past weekend . If you're thinking of going to Bad Habits, please go. The brunch was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles. The DJ was everything. He definitely had us dancing. He played everything. reggae, soca, Latin, pop, rnb. Stephanie was my waitress she was attentive and pleasant. Drinks were good. We did bottomless brunch, and margaritas were included! Metered street parking available. Space is small but well decorated . There is a 90 min time limit for brunch. However, it wasn't crowded, so we were able to stay at our table and party. After we ate, they brought out fried ice cream and chocolate lava cake for my birthday, which was delicious. My only suggestion would be for brunch to be prefix. Great place. I'll definitely be returning.

Absolutely the best place in Astoria to chill and have a great time. Food is 10/10 as well as drinks. Servers are friendly. The music alone is amazing. Would recommend to anyone. Fantastic vibes.

This place is popping. Not only is the decor IG worthy but the food was delicious and the drinks were hitting. I had the Yuzu margarita, one was enough. We ordered off the appetizer menu, tacos, their shrimp/ crab tempura sushi and pastelon. All delicious and filling. I definitely plan to be back. Keep in mind they add on 20% gratuity automatically, but we liked our waitress so we gave her more on top of it.

Definitely 5 stars!!. Had the chance to try this gem in Astoria and didn’t disappoint us in any way. The food was amazing, I personally love Latin sushi and this place knows how to do it, delicious and generous pieces, drinks were algo good. If you’re looking for Latin food or an actual good sushi, you should check it out. The happy hour has the best prices

Sergio was an exceptional server during my visit to bad habits. From the moment we were seated, his attentiveness and friendly demeanor set the tone for a great experience. He took the time to explain the drink menu in detail, suggesting a few items based on our preferences, and his recommendations were spot on. Sergio was quick to respond to any requests and ensured that our glasses were always full without being overbearing. His knowledge of the drink offerings and his personable attitude made our time at the bar feel personalized and enjoyable. He genuinely seemed to care about making our experience memorable, which made all the difference. Highly recommend asking for Sergio if you're looking for top-notch service!

The party vibe was strong, with loud music and lots of hookah smoke.. great if that’s your scene, but it wasn’t quite ours that night. On the bright side, the food was delicious. The empanadas were delicious, and the sushi rolls, with their Dominican influence, were unique and flavorful. We appreciated the creative touches on the menu and would have loved to try more if the atmosphere had been a bit more inviting. Overall, Bad Habits is a fun spot for those looking for a party vibe, but the service and ambiance could use some improvement.

If you’re lucky enough to find yourself at Bad Habits, do yourself a favor and grab a drink from Natalia and Jeff. They are not just a bartender—they are a true artist behind the bar. Natalia energy is contagious, her cocktails are top-tier, and she makes everyone feel like a regular. Natalia knows how to read the room, keep things fun, and still deliver fast, flawless service. She’s a gem and absolutely one of the reasons we keep coming back!

We had an amazing time at Bad Habits. This is our second visit here and definitely not our last. The food is fantastic and priced amazingly during Happy Hour. We had the wings, shrimp tacos, and two of the Dominican sushi plates. The drinks are STRONG and tasty. We definitely got our money’s worth.

I recently visited Bad Habits and while the ambiance and music were great, my experience was soured by an issue with the bill. Despite an automatic 20% gratuity being added to our check, I was still overcharged an additional tip. I can overlook a lot if the experience is good, but when it feels like a place is outright stealing from its customers, that's a dealbreaker. While the vibes were enjoyable, I will not be returning to a place that chooses to take advantage of its patrons. Thankfully I snapped a picture of my receipt before leaving. Disappointing, to say the least.
